Ballard School is Searching for a Star Artist!

Just being spontaneous!
Searching for a star is a Non profit organization in search of the star in all student performers and Artists. This year, Searching for a star foundation will give a $25.00 cash award to one of the artists whose art is on display.
We will have ballots on hand so that art students whose art is displayed will be able to vote on their top three (3) choices of art ! After the ballots are cast, Ballard School staff will then count the votes and notify the winning artist! In case of a tie Donnita Fisher, Editor of the Wylie News will match the $25.00 award for the other artist!
Saturday December 5, 2009 will be a very busy day for the Ballard School of Performing Arts. Some of our students will perform in the 2009 Wylie Art Festival! There will be food and fun for everyone! Ballard School is pleased to be a part of the festivities!
Ballard School is housing Wylie ISD student art. The pieces on display shows the talent and creativity that our students posess; a testament to our Wylie ISD Fine Arts Department.
The doors of Ballard School will open at 10:00am...Come out and support Wylie student artists!
Also, Ballard School guitar group ages 8 - 11 years old, Searching for a Star performers and the Ballard Dancers will perform and dance to holiday and other favorites on stage at the Art Festival at Olde City Park downtown Wylie.
