The administration here at Ballard School of the Performing Arts (BSPA) has made every attempt to hire competent reputable instructors; most with years of teaching experience.  We would ask that those students who consider choosing our school, do so with foresight,  that our instructors are here to turn students into musicians and those that want to fly into dancers!

Many of you have come out to meet Nikki the new Tap and Jazz instructor at Ballard School of Arts.  Dancing most of her life  at her aunt’s Dance school in California,  Nikki has shown that she has what it takes to be one of the best instructors that Ballard School has known to this point.  “She is perfect for our young beginning dancers as well as for our older dancers, she is well liked by the parents”,  says Rob Hunter- President of Ballard School. 

Nikki understands our school’s mission, and is here to pass on her wonderful gifts... "She is really good;  I have heard some of the moms say that they may even take her Tap Class".  That is a great idea,  I think it would be great to have an adult Tap Dance Team!  I would even take the class myself",  Says Rob Hunter. 

 This is the last weekend to take advantage of Nikki’s free intro dance class....come on out and see what Nikki Hooper has to offer and sign  up for her fall classes! 

Meghan Richards - Strong Hip Hop Instructor

A Freelance Choreographer/Master Teacher  Meghan has instructed and choreographed for a variety of studios and competition teams in the areas of lyrical, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. She choreographed for Whiplash Dance Team at Penn State University.

Meghan is coming to Ballard School to teach her specialties… Hip Hop, Funk and Lyrical.  She will be at Ballard Street to show off her stuff on Saturday August 7, 2010...  come out to see what she has to offer!

With the addition of these great choreographers our ballet students will  learn balance and poise, our Tap and Jazz students will display great  movement and rythm  and our Lyrical and Hip Hop performers will sizzle!   I am expecting big things at our recitals this year... Under the guidance of such wonderful talents our students  just can’t do anything but shine!

The Ballard School of Performing Arts is established to provide  talented instructors a forum  to pass on their  love  for music and dance to those that want to learn.  The programs that we have established are gaining popularity and we want to keep the momentum going.
